Tom Perlozzo is currently the Director of Tourism and Business Development for the Town of Ocean City. Prior to moving to Ocean City, Tom was the Director for Recreation, Parks, Tourism and Economic Development for Worcester County, Maryland. He also spent the last 15 years owning his own company and managing the Mid Atlantic, Florida and the Caribbean territory for the Sports Illustrated Golf Group.
Tom is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree where he played college football. Tom comes from a family of professional athletes with brothers Nick and Sam playing and coaching professionally in major league baseball. Tom started his career here in Ocean City in 1985 as the Director of Recreation and Parks before entering the private sector. He was instrumental in the building of Eagle’s Landing Golf Course, The Winterfest of Lights, and Northside Park along with many of the programs to date. He worked with many operating divisions including Special Events, Parks, Public Grounds, Beach Patrol, Golf, Programs and more. He resides in Ocean City, Maryland.
