The coronavirus continues to affect us all. AARP MARYLAND and iHeartRadio want to help all who are in need during the health crisis. They are providing trusted information every day from their own and other experts. If you are hungry or in-need of social services, we encourage you to seek assistance now. 

MARYLAND ACCESS POINT:This organization serves as the entry point for obtaining information, referrals and options counseling for seniors, adults with disabilities, their families and caregivers. The Baltimore City phone is 410-396-CARE. That's 410-396-2273. Calls are answered by a team of Certified Information and Assistance Specialists, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30AM and 4:30PM.

MEALS ON WHEELS: For seniors, this organization does more than deliver nutritious meals. They provide support and safety-net services that help sustain health, promote independence and help seniors to improve overall their quality of life.

MD DEPT OF AGING “Senior Check”:The Senior “Call Check” program is a free resource to MD residents over 65+. We recommend all seniors use the program as a resource during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Senior ‘Call Check’ phone lines are open M-F 8A thru 5P and Saturday from 9A thru 3P. During these hours, seniors can call toll-free 1-866-50-CHECK (1-866-502-0560) and register with a live agent to get daily ‘call checks.’
