The state's House State Government Subcommittee has approved a bill that would end the practice of adjusting the clocks twice a year, effective this summer, effectively giving the state permanent Daylight Saving Time. In a Facebook poll about 70% of Tennesseans like the idea of putting an end to all this clock-changing nonsense.

... But here's the problem: If only Tennessee ends the practice, those in neighboring states will have to make adjustments 5 months of the year when there is no Daylight Saving Time.
